Conscientious objectors working on building a bridge
this photo is of a man standing on a wooden support beam in the construction is a wooden bridge as a part of the alternative service men rendered during the war as conscientious objectors. The bridge is not complete but the skeleton can be seen. Four other men are off on the left side of the photo walking down an embankment. This photo is a duplicate of MHC photo 277-31 and is a PMT that has been mounted.

This photo is of a tourist train crossing the Saldir river near Spat, Crimea. (Toristenzug zum Badeort Eupatoria. Brücke über dem flüschen Saldie beir dorf Spat, Krim). Under the bridge that the steam engine is traveling on are some animals.
This is a photo of the pontoon bridge which was built in 1938. The photo was taken at Rotebude, Poland. The bridge was in use until 1973. The photo shows the bridge across the Tote Weichsel. In the foreground are low shrubs at the waterfront. On the other side of the river are taller trees.

On the left side of the photo shrubbery can be seen. An electrical transmission tower can also be seen in the background. This tower transmits power to Konigsberg Elbing.
