The only remaining covered bridge in Ontario, locaed in Waterloo County in the village of West Montrose just off highway 86. It was built in 1881 by John and Sam Bear and was known locally as the kissing bridge. Postcard. Hunsberger photo

This photo is of a tourist train crossing the Saldir river near Spat, Crimea. (Toristenzug zum Badeort Eupatoria. Brücke über dem flüschen Saldie beir dorf Spat, Krim). Under the bridge that the steam engine is traveling on are some animals.

This is a photo of the pontoon bridge which was built in 1938. The photo was taken at Rotebude, Poland. The bridge was in use until 1973. The photo shows the bridge across the Tote Weichsel. In the foreground are low shrubs at the waterfront. On the other side of the river are taller trees.

This photo is of the Weichsel [Vistula] River with the new bridge, built in 1973, in the background. The river here has a strong current and whirlpools. On the left side of the photo shrubbery can be seen. An electrical transmission tower can also be seen in the background. This tower transmits power to Konigsberg Elbing.

This is a photo of the bridge at Helgoland crossing the Elbingerweichsel. The photo shows cars crossing the bridge and a woman crossing the street behind the cars. There are trees in the background. Electrical transmission poles are at the side of the road.

This photo is of the new bridge across the Weichsel [Vistula] from (Käsemark ?) to Rotebude in the background. The bridge was opened in June 1973. In the foreground are the shrubs which were planted to protect the waterfront.
