Note

The S.S. Melita on which Dietrich J. Rempel travelled landed at Quebec on 26 Sept 1924 (see CMBoC #1459). The cancellation stamp is "Liverpool, 3 October 1924." The final post office delivery stamp in Preston, Ontario is possibly 16 Oct 1924. [This postcard may have travelled back across the ocean and back to Canada again!]

Johann J. Enns and his wife Anna (nee Rempel), (Dietrich's sister), as well as Anna and Dietrich's mother, Mrs. Anna Driedger, landed in Quebec 17 July 1924 (see CMBoC #976 and #971), and were initially hosted in the Waterloo area.
