The fonds consists of a series of 43 letters written by Alexander John Fast & Katharina Penner between May 1920 and May 1921. The letters are compiled, transcribed and translated by Katharine (Fast) Harder, David Alexander (David) Fast & Frieda Fast. These, along with additional commentary, are organized into a volume called "Letters, The Correspondence between Alexander John Fast, also known as Sasha or Cama in the Russian alphabet, who lived in the Kuban, Russia, and Katharina Penner, known as Katja, who lived in Millerowo, Russia, dating May 1920 to the time of their wedding, 08 May 1921."
