Conference of Mennonites in Canada. Executive secretary

In 1961 an executive secretary was hired by the CMC. This removed a great deal of the workload of the conference secretary. Henceforth the latter served largely as the recording secretary at the annual session. The bulk of the conference secretary's correspondence was taken over by the new position. In 1974 the title was changed to general secretary. The executive secretaries were:

  • David P. Neufeld (1961-1967)
  • Jake Letkemann (1967-1971)
  • Henry J. Gerbrandt (1971-1974)
