These documents contain the following:
Material relating to the emigration from Russia during the 1920's. It was collected mainly from the A.A. Friesen Collection (Bethel College, N. Newton, Kansas), The B.B. Janz Collection (Winnipeg, Manitoba), and the Board of Colonization ( Winnipeg Manitoba). The file also includes letters related to the famine in Ukraine in 1921.
Reference is made to emigration to Mexico.
Mennonite Colonization Board with chair D.E. Harder was instrumental in the emigration negotiations.
Mennonite Colonization Association of North America Ltd. with chair David Toews of Rosthern Saskatchewan assisted with the emigration details. Box 259
