The photo shows a chicken coop framed with logs, enclosed in chicken wire and corrugated sheets of metal in Hoffnungsfeld. The chickens which are the "Leghorn" breed, are standing or nesting on perches inside the coop. There is a door on the right to enter the henhouse.

The photo shows the hotel in Hoffnungsfeld under construction. The frame is made of logs, the thatching of the roof is in progress as evidenced by the crude ladders leading up to the roof.
