Born 2 Feb 1878, Harvey County, Kansas. Parents: Heinrich Lohrenz and Elisabeth Wiens. Married Anna Marion Friesen, 26 Dec 1906 in Mountain Lake, Minnesota. President of Tabor College 1908 to 1931. Also taught at Bethel College. Other Mennonite Brethren denominational positions. Died 16 Mar 1945, Hillsboro, Kansas.
