Biographical history
Letters were sent from Peter Klassen's family, who were quite wealthy and because they thought things would improve decided to stay in Russia. Their correspondence with the Klassen and Epp family eventually was handed over to Ruth Derksen Siemens by Margaret Epp Wedel. Ruth donated them to the Archives.
