This is a photo of the staff of the train No.190. About 13,000 Mennonite men had to serve during the First World War. They served in various places and in different capacities. The most popular of all these services was probably that of a Red Cross worker. A great number of hospitals on wheels, that is Red Cross trains, were organized and thousands of our men served on them. To the left, right under the zero, sits David Letkemann. [HR 236]
