CEEer who came to Canada as an MCC IVEPer

This photo shows Dawn_____ before she graduated from China West Normal University where Todd and Jeanette Hanson taught English since 1994. Dawn later participated in the MCC International Visitor Exchange Program (IVEP) in Kitchener, Ontario with a placement at the First Mennonite Church and another placement at the House of Friendship.

China Educational Exchange summer language program participants

This photo shows the participants of the China Education Exchange (CEE) summer language program where new and experienced CEEers gathered for three weeks of Chinese classes, teaching sessions, sightseeing and sharing. Graber, Don and Dorothy McCammon, Eugene and Luella Blosser, Franklin Beahn, John and Agnes Wienke, "Grandpa Bartel," Irmtrude von Haugwitz, Thali Anderson, Christine Weaver, and Ruth Beahn.  Also includes an 8 mm film depicting the arrival of Dorothy McCannon, Christine Weaver, and Ruth Beahn in Hong Kong in 1951.
