This photo is of the tombstone of August G. A. Liebig, preacher and teacher in German Baptist congregations; frquent guest at Mennonite Brethren congregations in the area. Engraved in German: "Our well-respected teacher and shepherd. Dedicated by thankful friends."

Died Aug. 19, 1914
The funeral was Aug. 20, 1914, near Denhoff, ND and the buriel was Aug. 23, 1914 next to his wife, who died Feb. 14, 1912.
Exact location unknown; part of the cemetery is seen.
