Louis Paul Lehman was an evangelist, radio speaker and minister. He entered full-time itinerant evangelistic work at age twelve. Lehman established independent churches in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, where he also produced evangelistic radio programs. He later pastored churches in Portland, Oregon, and Grand Rapids, Michigan. Lehman became affiliated with the Mennonite Brethren Church in 1967, when he became pastor of the Bakersfield (Calif.) Mennonite Brethren Church. In 1976 he moved to Fresno, California, and became a radio speaker and television producer for Words of the Gospel, a broadcast ministry of the Mennonite Brethren Church. From 1979 until 1983 he was pastor of the Bethany Mennonite Brethren Church in Fresno.
